Fund Your RQM Wallet
To speak with a mechanic on RequestMechanic, you’ll need to have funds in your wallet. The platform uses a pay-as-you-go system, meaning you are only charged for the time you spend on audio or video calls with mechanics. Before requesting a consultation, make sure to top up your wallet to avoid interruptions.
Follow these simple steps to fund your RQM wallet:
Step 1: Access Your Wallet Menu
Open the RQM app or website and click on the sidebar menu located at the top left corner of your dashboard. From the dropdown list, select “Wallet” to access your wallet dashboard.
Step 2: Top Up Your Wallet
Inside the wallet section, click the “Top Up” button. Next, enter the amount in Naira (₦) that you’d like to add to your wallet.
Step 3: Choose a Payment Method
You will be redirected to the Paystack payment gateway where you’ll have several payment options, including:
Card Payment (Visa, Mastercard, Verve)
Bank Transfer
USSD
Visa QR
Select your preferred method and input the correct payment details for a smooth transaction.
Step 4: Confirm Your Payment
Once your transaction is successful, your wallet balance will update automatically. You’re now ready to connect with verified mechanics and pay for consultations as needed.
⚠️ Pro Tip:
Mechanic consultations are billed at ₦250 per minute, ensure your wallet has sufficient funds to cover your expected call duration.
