Q1: What should I do if I don’t receive an OTP during account creation? A: Check your spam folder or tap “Resend OTP” on the app to get a new one.

Q2: How can I change my availability status as a mechanic? A: Go to your profile, tap “Availability”, and select Active or Inactive depending on your schedule.

Q3: What happens if a mechanic doesn’t accept my request? A: The platform will automatically try to match you with other nearby mechanics until one accepts.

Q4: How much does a call cost on RQM? A: Car owners are charged ₦500 per 2-minute session (₦250/min), deducted directly from their wallet balance.

Q5: What payment methods are supported when topping up my wallet? A: Paystack supports card payments, bank transfers, USSD, and Visa QR.


Troubleshooting

Issue 1: Payment failed when funding wallet. Fix: Ensure you input accurate card or bank details and have sufficient funds. Also, check your internet connection before retrying.

Issue 2: Microphone not working during calls. Fix: Confirm that RQM has microphone permissions enabled in your device settings.

Issue 3: Mechanic did not show up after accepting the request. Fix: Report the issue via the in-app support feature, and the team will handle it as a priority.

Issue 4: Can’t set location on the map. Fix: Enable location services on your device. If the issue persists, try closing and reopening the app.
